Over-night Hui-hang Ancient Road hiking
　

Description:

Huihang Ancient Road took its name from Huizhou and Hangzhou. It was the main road from Huizhou to Hangzhou for the businessmen of Ming and Qing Dynasty, including the owner of Hu Qing Yu Chinese Pharmacy in Hangzhou. We will lead you to the mountainous areas with deep valleys and high peaks.


We will go to Jixi county on saturday and will then start our hiking on the next morning. Huihang Ancient Road is 25 km long and it usually takes one day to cover the distance. The best parts of the trail is a 5 km road laid with flagstones . We will pass through a spectacular mountainous area where you can listen to the murmur of the little brook, see the waterfalls from the mountain. The peak of the mountain is called Lantian’ao that offers a variety of awesome hiking trails and magnificent views.

Our vehicle will wait for us at Zhechuan village at the end of the ancient road. We will then go back to Hangzhou.
